Fit India Movement


Day 1


(i) Morning Assembly – Yoga for all
Yoga Session was arranged in assembly. Students of Std I to Std X performed five asanas with the help of Yoga instructor and volenteers. Students performed with great interest and enthusiastically.



(ii) Activities on Fitness and Nutrition for Students and Staff
P.E Instructor shared information on importance of fitness to all the students and teachers in assembly as well as Principal explained the importance of nutrition in everyones diet.


Day 2


(i) Morning Assembly – Free hands exercise for all
Students of Std I to Std X actively participated in free hands exercises. Std X students volunteered for the exercise.



(ii) Mental Fitness Activities : A lecture by Dr. Dinesh Kowshik
Std I to std X attended a lecture in morning assembly. Dr. Dinesh Kowshik shared information on importance of Mental fitness. He explained importance of exercise, healthy diet, self control and discipline.
