FIELD TRIP

Grade II students of KLE Mahadevappanna Munavalli School, Gokak visited the Goshala near Yogikola owned by Shri Girish Rathod sir🐄🌳.

The children learned about the care and nurturing of cows, including feeding and maintaining hygiene. They enjoyed interacting with the cows and were fascinated by the serene surroundings 🐮💚.

The lush greenery and peaceful environment made the experience even more enjoyable. Teachers guided the students on how important it is to show compassion and care for animals. Overall, it was an educational and fun-filled day for the students, leaving them with lasting memories 🧑‍🏫🌿.

Grade V students to Arabhavi Horticulture College.

Valli School Gokak recently organized an exciting field trip for Grade V students to Arabhavi Horticulture College.

During the visit, students explored various types of farming, including fruit and flower nurseries 🌸🍎, and even got a glimpse into dairy farming 🐄.

They actively learned about planting techniques, grafting plants 🌱, and the process of cattle farming.

The trip offered a fantastic opportunity for students to gain practical knowledge about agriculture and farming.

Teachers emphasized the importance of waste segregation ♻️ and how it benefits the environment 🌍. The person in charge interacted with the students and answered their questions effectively, explaining the entire process.

Students were encouraged to raise awareness about proper waste segregation in their communities. They noted all the important details and maintained excellent behavior throughout the visit.

During the visit, they learned about the account creation process and how to post letters and gifts 📬. The students gained insights into the various functions of the post office, including receiving parcels, sorting letters, and delivering them 📦. They also got a chance to understand the speed post activities ✉️

It was an informative and engaging experience for the students, helping them understand the importance of postal services in daily life!

KLE Mahadevappanna Munavalli School Gokak recently organized a field trip for Grade 8 students to the Gram Panchayat Office in Mamadapur. The students had a wonderful opportunity to learn about local governance from Shri Vinayak Mali, the PDO of Gram Panchayat. 🌱

During the visit, the elected members, including Smt. Manjula Dinesh Kagannavar (President) and Shri Basava Mahesh Patil (Vice President), were present and explained various aspects, such as:

🏢 The departmental works of the Gram Panchayat.

📋 Key schemes and initiatives undertaken by the Panchayat.

The trip was an enriching experience, allowing the students to gain firsthand knowledge about the functioning of a Gram Panchayat.


KLE Mahadevappanna Munavalli School, Gokak, organized an insightful field trip for Grade 6 students to a sub-jail 🏛️.

The children were given a tour inside the jail, guided by the sub-jailor, who explained the premises and shared information about the daily routine of prisoners.

  • The garden where some of the prisoners work 🌿..
  • The canteen where meals are prepared 🍽️.

They also got a chance to see the security system in place 🔐. The jailor explained the difference between a sub-jail and a central jail, and how facilities like hospitals 🏥 and family meetings are arranged. The students, curious as always, asked many questions, which were answered patiently.

Throughout the visit, the students maintained discipline and showed great interest in learning about the justice and correctional system. They left with a deeper understanding of the jail environment and felt happy with the knowledge they gained 😊.


KLE Mahadevappanna Munavalli School Gokak organized an educational field trip for Grade 4 students to the Urban Bank (APMC). 🏦

During the visit, students learned about the essential role banks play in the community. They toured customer service desks and received insightful information from bank staff on various services provided by the bank.

The students were introduced to concepts such as money management 💰, the importance of saving, and how to create a bank account 📝. This hands-on experience helped them understand the banking system better and encouraged good financial habits.


KLE Mahadevappanna Munavalli School, Gokak, organized an exciting field trip to Reliance Mart, a leading retail store, for 138 students of Grade I

During the visit, one of the staff members gave the students a tour of the store, explaining the various products available and demonstrating the billing system. 🛒🧾 The students were keen observers, showing great interest in learning how a retail store operates.

Their good behavior throughout the trip was appreciated by the store staff. 👏 On the way back to school, the students enthusiastically shared their experiences with their friends and teachers, creating memories from this fun and educational outing! 😊🚍


Visit to an Old Age Home by KLE Mahadevappanna Munavalli School

On the occasion of Honourable Chairman Dr. Prabhakar Kore sir's birthday, KLE Mahadevappanna Munavalli School Gokak, organized a special program at an old age home at Belgaum🌸. This heartwarming event was led by the esteemed Principal Nanda Chunamari, alongwith a dedicated team of Scouts and Guides from Gokak.

Principal Nanda Chunamari mam appreciated their wonderful contribution of the students and faculty, commending their efforts in nurturing human values alongwith academic education 🌱.

The Scouts and Guides team, led by their masters—Prakash Patil, Chetana Patil, Sujata Tondikatti, Nandadeepa Shiralkar, and Shrishail Koladurgi—generously provided davasa-dhana to the ashram, spreading joy and compassion 🌟.

SUMMER CAMP: We conducted a summer camp for children from 1st April 2010 to 15th April 2010 – about 70 children from different school including our school participated and children were taught art craft, dance, music, taekwondo and yoga. The camp concluded with a small show put up by the participants and all participants were given prizes. Residential camp: A residential camp was conducted for our school students from 16th April 2010 to 30th April 2010, wherein 25 students participated. All arrangements of food and stay were made in the school, Children participated in activities like yoga, group games, trekking, nature walks, picnics. They had kit inspections every day and children participated in even cooking and cleaning. An enriching 10 day theatre camp was conducted as part of the Summer camp by NINASM ( Heggadu) member Shri Danappa- On the final day of the camp, the children put up an excellent show with a kannada drama, group songs and group activities. Parents of participants are invited. Guests witnessed the show. International Tour: IFD Belgaum organized an “Outlearn” trip to Singapore- Malaysia with Kouni Academy Mumbai. The seven day trip was an exciting and enjoyable trip for 17 children from 5 KLE Schools and 3 staff members. The Principal and their students of our school participated and the tour proved beneficial as well as the visits to the Salle school at Malaysia. School at Singapore and Lim Kok Wing creative University at Singapore, enlightened both students and staff members alike the “Canopy walk” at FRIM , Malaysia and the visit to Marine Barrage and No water factory were also rich experiences. Picnics for students were conducted to Panhala Fort, Kaneri Math and Kolhapur for Std VI and VII. Gandharav Water Park for Std III to V, Sogal for Std I & II. Our toddlers of pre-primary enjoyed themselves at Horticulture College premises, Arabhavi. To See Photos Sports events were held between 2nd Nov and 11th Nov 09 wherein class wise sports were conducted. Besides track and field events there were fun games. To See Photos K.L.E. Foundation Day was held on a grand scale, with all KLE Institutions of Gokak coming together to celebrate. A gathering of nearly 700 people including students and staff attended the function. To See Photos Flood-lit inter houses matches were conducted - Crickoblast - a cricket match with 20 runs awarded to each hits in four previously marked areas. Scorpio - a football match in a mini football stadium with a smaller than usual goal post and lagori matches were held with the enthusiastic participation on field by students and off the field by teachers and students. To See Photos Keeping in mind Indian culture and its importance, we celebrate all festivals in a traditional way and all national festivals also. K.L.E.Society, Foundation Day is an annual celebration as is Lingaraj Jayanti, in honour of our founders and donors. Grandparents Day is held regularly on 14th Feb, a tradition we have established instead of Valentine Day. Annual Gathering is a vivacious display of talent- held every year, as is Sports Day which brings out all the physical attributes and talents of our students. Parents interact at meetings held twice a year, in addition to the report days. We have a special mother’s meet, for mothers of adolescent students, to discuss various issues. The whole year is full of activities and the atmosphere is vibrant and interactive.
